Welcoming the New Year

Twelve months to quantify , for each with a paradox , 

Days of sweet memories , reviewing as equinox ,

Some failures , some victories , some joy and sorrow ,

Leaving behind the facets , with better resolutions to follow .

Thoughts of deeds that we have accomplished in the past , 

Images of loved ones swirling around in contrast ,

Thoughts of new acceptances  ,to begin as a start ,

Emotions with mixed reactions , emerging to outlast .

Hopes springs inside with new opportunities to thrive ,

Faith within the heart ,for new challenges to strive ,

Uncanny possibilities , though causing the harrow ,

Yet Celebrating the joy ,and expecting a brighter tomorrow .

New thoughts , New Adventures , New resolutions , New trends ,

Moving forward to a New Year , with new energy and scend ,

With feelings of undue actions ,bidding goodbye to yester year , 

Welcoming the New Year , with an untold Passion and Cheer  .
